Forging Fundamentals

In this class you will: learn the fundamental theory of forging, basic information about the steels we will be using and why, how to properly define your forging process before beginning, how to swing a hammer, how to forge and heat treat a chisel and center punch then use them to forge a small wall mounted hook.

CLASS DIFFICULTY: BEGINNER

STUDENTS AGES 10+ OF ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

STUDENTS WHO ARE 17 AND YOUNGER AT THE TIME OF THE CLASS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHO IS ALSO ATTENDING THE CLASS. SO IF YOU WISH TO BRING A STUDENT BETWEEN THE AGES OF 10 AND 17, A CLASS SEAT MUST BE PURCHASED FOR BOTH YOURSELF AND FOR THE YOUNG STUDENT.

The cost of the class will include tuition, material fees, as well as breakfast and lunch each day. Purchase of this in-person course will also grant you access to the live recording of the class when it is published on our Online Education page so that you have lifetime access to the process, information, and memories.
